Asc3nsion Posted May 18, 2010 Share Posted May 18, 2010 Well I have had this system since 2003 so I guess I can't be too upset that I am having an issue. This is my second system though, my first stopped working less than 30 days after purchase so I exchanged it back in the day at Circuit City. My issue now is the sub and speakers are buzzing loudly. I took apart the amp and found r12 resistor area brownish and r26 resistor slightly cracked and a slight hint of browning around the area. I figured I would replace those and see if the system works afterwards. I really like the system so I am hoping this pulls it through lol. My question is is there anything else I should be aware of while I have this thing apart? Any other notorious offenders that I should replace while I'm in there? Any input/insight appreciated.
