Phatwill
I've decided to put together a vintage system for music. Well on my 1st day out, I found a Sansui Seven and a pair of AKG K240 headphones, on Craigslist, for 30 bucks! Both in decent shape, and working. How bout that? If that's no big deal...don't bust my bubble. I'm feeling pretty good.
Wrinkles
Phatwill, I have never seen or heard the Sansui Seven, but I have owned AKG headphones. Back in the late 70s within my budget criteria, they were a major bang for the buck. Sounds like you did very well. Congratulations on your deal. Does everything work properly? Phatwill
Thanks. Yes. So far, everything is good. Monday I'll get some Deoxit, and get to cleaning. I tested the Seven on a set of KSF 10.5's, in my theater. But I plan to start with a set of KG4's. Then eventually try to get my hands on a set of Fortes. I don't really know good sound, but I'm hoping by slowly upgrading, I will hear the difference.
