jwatson364
im gonna buy a marantz 1501... http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/item/features/538730055/marantz-nr1501?s_c=site_search and add a pair of klipsch xf-48... http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/item/features/542999545/ but ive heard that if u hookup speakers with an internal amp, its better to use the rca's to hook them up to the reciever.... im also using a klipsch sub-12 in the amp pre-output.... so....my question is where do i hookup the rca's of the xf-48 into on the back of the marantz 1501???? thanks!!!! RockOn4Klipsch
You don't. Also, don't worry about running the speaker wires from the marantz to the xf.

RockOn4Klipsch
haha, I can see you how you misunderstood that, it's actually funny. As soon as I read the post again I imagined your speakers sitting there with nothing hooked up to them. What I meant is, don't worry about degrading sound quality or damging the speakers by running the high gain outputs (speaker terminals) from the marantz to the xf-48s. Hopefully that makes more sense for you. In order to run the xf-48's with RCA's you would need to locate a processor with multi channel outputs, these are typically designed with the idea of running seperate power amps for your speakers, which the xf-48's already have in them.
