please help with marantz/klipsch setup....

im gonna buy a marantz 1501...

and add a pair of klipsch xf-48...

but ive heard that if u hookup speakers with an internal amp, its better to use the rca's to hook them up to the reciever....

im also using a klipsch sub-12 in the amp pre-output....

so....my question is where do i hookup the rca's of the xf-48 into on the back of the marantz 1501????

haha, I can see you how you misunderstood that, it's actually funny. As soon as I read the post again I imagined your speakers sitting there with nothing hooked up to them.

What I meant is, don't worry about degrading sound quality or damging the speakers by running the high gain outputs (speaker terminals) from the marantz to the xf-48s.

Hopefully that makes more sense for you.

In order to run the xf-48's with RCA's you would need to locate a processor with multi channel outputs, these are typically designed with the idea of running seperate power amps for your speakers, which the xf-48's already have in them.
