M6 Driver
If it's the dust cover in the middle of the woofer and nothing is broken shouldn't be a problem just cosmetic this has been brought up in the past and some have fixed the dent but I'd wait for more feedback ------------------ "FULLY LOADED" J
dougdrake
Let us know if it's the dust cap in the center of the woofer, as J suggests. Then, you'll get more specific feedback. Doug ------------------ My System
top5b
Yes, it is the dust cap in the middle of woofer, and a little bit bend outside but nothing is broken. Please more feedback. thanks
dougdrake
A dented dust cap typically does not affect the sound at all. If it bugs you, you can pull it out with a couple of methods: 1) Try a piece of tape (masking or duct), and use it to pull the dent out. 2) Gently place a vacuum cleaner hose against it and pull the dent out. Be careful the suction doesn't rip it off the speaker. 3) If all that fails, you can take a needle or small, thin pin (a safety pin works well because it has a built-in "handle" for maneuvering it) and stick it into the dust cap, in the center of the dent, and gently pull it out. Then, just patch the tiny hole with a little dot of Elmer's glue, hit it with a black magic marker, and it's almost invisible. Use any of these ideas at your own risk -- not responsible for results!! top5b
Thanks Doug, I used the tape to pull it out. It took me many times to get it to work, but it worked. Now I do not need to worry about the sounds. Thanks again. top5b
