Oregon Tubes
I have been a Klipsch die hard fan for many years. I recently purchased a pair of KSP-300. I hooked them up and received a very loud hum, this before speaker wires were attached. Klipsch Technical has thrown their arms up, telling me that the amplifiers are worn out? I really didn't expect that Klipsch would make a speaker with an inferior amplifier. When Paul was still around, this issue would have been corrected, no questions asked. Is Klipsch going down hill on their products? These two KSP-300 speakers have approximetly 50 hours each, barely broke in?
wayne makowicki
The KSP-300 and KSP-400 seem to have this issue, nice speakers when working. I was able to get mine going not sure how long the will last. Let me know how you make out, I would love another pair, maybe put on an after market amp?
