nioin3k
Okay, so the left speaker output on my Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1's Amp died a couple weeks ago, and since then I have taken it apart with no obvious damage, and now I can't even get it to work at all. Is there a way I can buy the amp seperately, or use a different amplifer with the rest of my set? (5 speakers, volume/control unit) Basically I want to keep my speakers and all, but get a working amp! Thanks!
erly
Its most likely your amp. Not your controller. Klipsch dont fix no more. They send you to Sybesma. They quoted me a flat rate of 150.00 to fix amp.. And that was a year ago. Someone here said recently they want 180.00 now. There'a a few people here that supposedly fix them. But their rates are high too.. In my opinion, you're better off buying a complete used system for about the same price either from ebay or Craigs list.,

cityjim
Have yours repaired and enjoy the best computer speakers on the planet. If you buy used remember they are also old like yours. Could go out anyday like yours did. Get a cheap pair of headphones to get you by till they are repaired. I just called http://www.sybesmas.com/home.html . They said it was $150 and ROUGHLY 1-3 weeks turnaround. Most take 5-15 days she said. She said the three weeks to satisfy most kids out there. cityjim
