Klipsch RP-3 Triwiring help please !

I have just acquired a set of these and want to replace my old speakers which are bi-wired.The popular consesus on these board is to y-split a sub cable from the sub out of the reciever to the the LFE in,and use

the top set of terminals on the RP-3's leaving the metal strip in place.

Since my set-up is already bi-wired,I was wondering if I should still keep the system tri-wired or not.

I was using some pretty decent Kimber Kable 14ga.

for highs and some not quite as good 12ga wire for my bass response.Should I just run the Kimber Kable where it is more detailed than the 12 ga wire?Or will I notice a difference?

daltry, yea that's fine & dandy to bi the top & bottom posts (just make sure you take off the jumpers). dk on the quality issues, but i'd use the heavier gage on the

low (mid bass) posts & kimber on the highs.

as u said run the interconnects to the rp's lfe in if you're using the filtered sub out of the preamp. u can

either y-split to both rp, or use the lfe out of 1 rp to go to the lfe in of the other rp (daisy chain).
