Thanks for nothing.

Makkaveli, It's over the Christmas Holidays man. Many people not working and traveling. I'm sure that's true for those who watch the Headphones forum including the Klipsch employees. And Klipsch is not really that large of a company. Some who do watch the Headphones, such as myself without internet while travelling. And you've deleted your links so unless people get all posts emailed in Headphones as I do they won't see them. I'll paste in your original post as it should still be in my deleted folder.

All the Klipsch in ear phones are made in China. Unfortuanatley there's a lot of labor involvled and too small a quantity to be automated so China it is.

As far as I know all the Klipsch in ear phones are made the same for all markets but it is possible they use different packaging for different markets. It is also possible that the packaging as changed. You should be fine as long as you're buying directly from Amazon as they are an authorized Klipsch retailer, at least in the US so you should at least get the real deal from Amazon but not sure if warranty from Amazon sold outside the US is valid? Hopefully Amy can provide additional details.

A not to anyone when buying from Amazon - a lot of unauthorized retailers sell Klipsch 'phones through Amazon and many are not authorized. Klipsch website does list authorized and unauthorized online retailers but authorized list only shows for US and UK. If the price is too good to be true it probably is.... though Audio Advisor an authorized online retailer here in the US did have a killer deal on the Image x5 a while back, closeout, I hope new packaging and the the Image x5 is still available as it's my favorite.

They all look legitimate but quite a bit different so I too would be confused. 1 looks like newer packaging. The white may have been packaged differently for Apple stores? I would think German division of Amazon would be legitimate as long as buying directly from Amazon.

Original post for anyone that missed it.

Hello! :)

I searched long for headphones, and now I'm sure that I found the right ones.
I'm from Germany and as far as I know is the only "serious" way to purchase them here is Amazon(.DE).

But I'm confused now: I did some research and saw that there many different boxes of the "Image S4i" Headphone.
1. http://www.klipsch.com/images/c/4518/500x500.aspx
2. http://i756.photobucket.com/albums/xx210/perfectshopee2/S4I_WHITE_BOX.jpg
3. http://www.hitechreview.com/uploads/2009/07/Klipsch-Image-S4i-box221.jpg
Also I saw in some "Unboxing Videos" that some Headphone are delivered with "Alu-Case" and others with a "carrying pouch".

I'm not sure, but the S4i's from Amazon which I going to buy are packed in this box:

Are
all the S4i's identical to each other? Because I don't want to purchase
fake Headphones. Some people are saying that the S4i's from Amazon were
produced in China (Cheaper Quality then US ones), but the S4's which
you can buy in US etc. were produced in US.

There's no way in Germany to buy them directly from Klipsch? Or can I trust Amazon?

Thanks for help.

Uh sorry, but I was lil bit stressed and needed a quick answer.

Anyway, I've finally decided for the S4, they just sound great.

The S4s which I directly purchased by Amazon.de were packed in this box:

They don't sound like fakes. :D

Those looke legitmate to me. From Amazon they should be and if they sound right they probably are genuine. Welcome to the Klipsch family. Please come back to visit.
