levelfive Posted December 28, 2010 Share Posted December 28, 2010 Hi, I have upgraded from a set of Klispch Quintets and a SW-350 sub that I purchased last year to a pair of RF-82 II and a pair VF-36 with a SW-450 sub. I have been thinking about buy the Klipsch RW-12d Sub. Does anyone think the upgrade from the SW-450 to the RW-12d would be a noticeable difference? Newegg currently has a great price on the RW-12d. For $500; I believe there are probably better options out there. Hsu; SVS; ED; Emotiva; Epik all have offerings at this price range. (I am a best bang for buck person). I would check into all of them before making the purchase. FWIW; The RW12d appears to be discontinued.... (That is a pretty nice price). Good Luck.
