IndyKlipschFan
Personally I think this would be a killer DJ/ Karaoke setup. I heard the 362's at the Colts complex, and they sounded nice. That was a few years ago in the weightroom off of 56th street. Is there anyplace in Indy to demo these products? It is a shame I never see klipsch out in the live venues like I used too with say the split La Scalas in the 80's. (Live music speakers for Bands or a DJ/Karaoke setup) Someone needs to demo these products, or perform with them live, so people could hear what IMO is the great Klipsch sound. It might go a long way in market penetration and help you in selling them! I know it or this line is not a big push for Klipsch. Your focus for products is in the Home/Computer/Cinema markets... These are probably 4th on the list, but I had to ask. I see the Bob and Tom use Klipsch. What do they use??? IndyKlipschFan

IndyKlipschFan
Hmm asked a? in April, no response. Asked it in May, no response. I wonder with tomorrow being June if anyone will reply? Just might have to look elsewhere for Pro Gear if Klipsch is not interested. Seems a shame though. Anyone home?

Guest Matt Whatley
Hello- Bob and Tom use a setup similar to mine, but bigger. I use KP-302 (Mains), KP-480 (subs), and KSM-12 (monitors) in my band Matt Whatley Project. The 302s are awesome, as well as the 480 subs. I give the most props to the KSM-12 stage monitors though. Best stage monitor I've ever used. Vocals cut through perfectly. If you are interested in hearing the stuff in live situation, come out to a show sometime. I have a show tomorrow night (July 13th) in Broad Ripple at Pizza Pasta Etc. near the corner of College and 62nd. I'll be using most of the gear just mentioned. It's an "acoustic" type show and starts at 9:00pm. Matt Whatley
IndyKlipschFan
Hello Matt! Wow, we were on the same wave. (I was just learning about you from your site spending 45 min going through everything, and you sent me this email.) Needless to say I am very impressed, and yes I will be at the show Sat night. I am a friend Steve Phillips who also works at Klipsch, and he told me to look at your site. I guess much like Auralex which is also here in Indianapolis, IN with a staff of great musicians, I have a feeling Klipsch also has a few "diamonds in the rough" too. I appreciate your feedback. Now I will explore the KP302's and the KP480's here on the Klipsch site. And your suggestion on the KSM12's also. As a former lead singer in my college days in the mid 80's, I can appreciate a great monitor too. (I can almost remember begging the sound man, "Just a little reverb on me so I can feel a live sound, and bring my vocals up to let me hear myself PLEASE!!!") Anyway, I will see you Sat night 9 PM. Looks like it will be a great night. Could also buy a CD too. I always like to support and enjoy our local musicians as well as the up and comers too. http://www.mattwhatley.com/ for anyone else looking at this post for directions and info on Matt! Roger PS. DanoCaster (On the Klipsch BB) is in a great band from Nashville, TN who will be in Indy next weekend at Birdy's. <71st and Keystone> (July 20th) The band name is SparkleDrive. www.sparkledrive.com is their site. Kinda a "The Pretenders" sound and again sounds great from the samples. Looks like I have two places to go the next two weeks for live music. And all because of this board. Thanks! Guest Matt Whatley
Yeah I've talked to Gavin at Auralex several times. Can't wait to get out and see one of his shows! Take care. See you tomorrow evening! Matt Whatley
