I had recently bought the following setup: Klipsch RF-82s Premier Acoustic PA-120 sub Marantz SR 7005 AVR Marantz IS-301 ipod dock Although it is hooked up to my TV I like to use it mainly for audio. I am currently playing through my ipod (have a few lossless files but mostly mp3s) but am unhappy with the sound quality from the mp3s. I have been considering buying a good cd/sacd player or somehow create a library of flac files to ensure I get optimal performance from this setup. Having said that, I know very little about cd/sacd/blu ray players (already have a ps3) or other potential audio sources/formats. Could you please help me decide what the best option would be.
