dblue
I recently purchased a complete Reference Series surround set (RF-3, RS-3, RC-3). I'm having Trouble trying to place my surrounds. I can place them directly on the sides, but due to space constraints, they will actually be about 6 inches in front of the head of the listener. I could put them on the back wall, which is my other option, and that would put them about 15 feet behind the listening position. I am running an Denon AVR-2802 receiver. PhilH
dblue: Congratulations on the new system purchase! I still think the side mounting will give the best effect for you. If you can, try them in both positions before you mount them to make sure. PhilH
HornEd
I agree with PhilH, particularly about the side mounting. Since RS-3 have the woofer aimed at the sweet spot and spray the horn tweeters for and aft, the odds are that the 5" will be negligible. Enjoy your new system! -HornED ------------------ Photo update soon! -HornEd
