CF is inert and everything is bonded together with epoxy resin, so a light cleaning with a damp cloth (or even a good dusting with one of those big, gentle makeup brushes should cause no harm. Remember CF tends to be stiff and brittle so don't apply any more pressure than you have to if you're not sure how thick the composite is made.
