VGREEN
Today I hooked my Pioneer VSX 1120 up to the internet and was successful on the first try in receiveng internet radio stations that were preprogrammed into the unit. However I am sort of at a loss in where to look for internet radio stations and how to program them into this thing. Any help would be appreciatted. mustang guy
Nice unit! The owner's manual is here. Go to page 44. Here is a website with a bunch of stations. http://www.usliveradio.com/
VGREEN
I found out thourgh some internet research you need to use media software to copy your URL from which I hadn't done....downloaded Winamp to copy the URL's from and it is working perfect! Thanks for the link!

Thanks for the link! I see what you mean. Interesting that they did not mention that in the instructions. Seems like they are trying to keep an arm's length from showing people how to bypass all the pop-up advertisements from the java player clients. Do you have a link to the instructions you found that you can post here? Perhaps this will help other's like you in the future.
VGREEN
I actually found it on a review of the said receiver. I'll try to find it and post it for anyone who may need it.
VGREEN
Here it is: For Internet radio URLs, on your PC's web browser, go to shoutcast.com, go to "Settings" and choose "Play SHOUTcast stations in default media player ( eg: Winamp / iTunes / Windows Media Player )" Play a radio station on the website, open the downloaded.pls file in foobar 2000 (or whatever media player), check for the "properties" of the file when playing it, and "copy" the URL of the "file path" Open the 1120-k's "Internet Radio Settings) on your web browser and "paste" the URL and click "Update"
