toomanyspeakers Posted December 14, 2011 Share Posted December 14, 2011 Just picked up a pair of CF-2's in pretty decent shape. I was amazed at the smoothness of these speakers. One thing odd was that the model number is no where to be found nor is the sereal number on the speaker. Imaging is excellent as are the dynamics. oldmako Posted December 14, 2011 Share Posted December 14, 2011 The Epic's seem to be the red-headed, hair-lipped step child from Hope. I'm glad you enjoy them. I'm thrilled with mine but have only compared them to Forte I, KG5.2, KG4 and KG3.2. I got them for next to nothing. Hard to do with Heritage. That big horn can sound harsh on crappy recordings and the boxes are capable of copious bass. I fiddle with the tone controls for each disc / album / etc but I always end up happy. Kick butt!
