Tejaus
Hello, I have a pair of KP-3002 speakers and they are pretty bright and shrill on the high end. They both have new Eminence diaphragms as the originals were blown. I'm pretty sure I put the 8 ohm versions in. I noticed that two components are different on my crossovers vs the KP-302 schematic I have. One is a 1.5mH inductor vs the .7mH and the other is a 15 Ohms resistor that parallels that inductor vs 30 Ohms. All the caps are the same. I don't see a value on the LF inductor but it measure close on the resistance shown on the schematic. Mine is also obviously hand wired instead of a PCB. Did they modify the HF side to pad the high end on later versions? Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Tejaus
Well after looking at the old spec sheets it looks like they raised the crossover point from 800hz up to 1250hz. Anyone?
