Mister Jazz
Just purchased my first pair of klipsch cornwall 3's and my question is....How can such a robust speaker be rated at 100w Root Means Square. I have a 300w Carver Sunfire and I know I have put much more that that across these speaker terminals and they did not even blink. Can someone explain this and I hope this is not a repost. Guest " "
This came up once before.....the power rating is continuos for a very long duration...really long ....like in hours. So your amp putting in 300 watts of instantaneous wide band music peaks....wont get the speakers excited.
