hotsho111 Posted August 14, 2012 Share Posted August 14, 2012 Quick question, I'm pretty sure this is true but I wanted to check. When using the audio input on the promedia 4.1 control pod is it only 2.1? Is there anyway to get 4.1 out of the control pod only? I'm wondering because the computer I have is an old alienware one I got with the speakers, which is 12+ years old now (and still kickin). It's a loud and power hungry SOB and at this point the only thing I use it for is a receiver. I was hoping there was some way to bypass it. Side note, I have a receiver with a zone 2 setting (rx-a810) which I had been using with the speakers only while my amp was out of commission. Could I run it through that somehow? The zone 2 out is RCA connections. I can't use zone 1 though as I have my main home theater running through that. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
