It may be a typo, or they have changed vendors for the part, however if they did change vendors, the sample as well as production pieces go through rigorous testing and quality control to make sure they meet the same specifications. Units that don't meet specs are rejected.

If you desire, you can call Klipsch at 1-800-Klipsch if you live in the US or Canada, ask for their parts dept, and they should be able to confirm that.
