Replacing amp in promedia 4.1 sub

Hey,

In my quest to get my promedia 4.1s working again I have a sub enclosure with speakers but no amp (hell, no backplate at all).

I was looking at getting an aftermarket amp and hooking it up using that.

Would something like this work?

http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?partnumber=300-784

It looks like the sub output is 160 watts rms which I'm not sure this could handle. I'm looking to get the smallest amp I'd need for this.

Also, as long as it's smaller than the old plate opening that should be fine as I'm going to build something to attach it

Edit: to clarify, this would be a complete stand alone sub, I don't need it to power the speakers or use the control pod
