LousyTourist Posted November 20, 2012 Share Posted November 20, 2012 My cheap Altec computer speakers output faint static when I am downloading to the PC. It is because of my wifi card, I am pretty sure. The Altecs cable does not look to be shielded, or possibly it is coming in through the bass unit that holds the power amp. The Klipsch site does not discuss wifi noise rejection for the Promedia 2.1, nor do any of the other computer speaker mktr. sites I have visited.
