m00n Posted January 17, 2013 Share Posted January 17, 2013 Hey all.. I've had a trusty set of klipsch quadraphonic set of speakers for about 10 years now. It's a THX 4.1 pro media system. I just noticed today that my sub stopped working... Yes, I checked connections and ensured the sub volume was turned up. Checked my computer settings and as far as I can tell, nothing has changed. Has anyone ever tried to repair one of the sub amps that stopped working? m00n Posted January 18, 2013 Author Share Posted January 18, 2013 Well, never mind... It's working again. Not sure what I did. I unplugged the jacks from the sound card. I unscrewed the amp from the sub box took it out looked at it. Looked for any blown fuses, any fried parts... Nothing wrong. Plugged one of the jacks into my cell phone to see what would happen. Sub woofer worked great. Put the amp back in the sub box, hooked it all back up to the computer and wala, everything worked great again.... I dunno.....
