bberg
I am moving into a condo, and the old owner has a built in wall unit. There is a self area for his sub-woofer (which was side-firing). this shelf was at the bottom of the unit and was about 4 inches from the floor. He has a screen door in front of it. Can I put the down-firing sub woofer (the one that comes with the Quintet Microsystem) also on that shelf? MUST it actually be on the floor (I know it has feet)? Please respond if you know where the down-firing sub-woofer can be put. Brian
RWMIN
I don't think it maters. Bass is non directional but as with any sub you would want to place it where it performs the best. Perhaps a good corner load. You will have to experiment on the placement for "that room". Who knows, maybe that shelf will be the best place. Good Luck.
