Hardy
I don´t know how you hooked up the speakers but has it been like this all the time? Because it sounds like what happened to me when I turned on digital output by accident (only I have a set of PM5.1s but still horrible) - Hardy

Even in that case there has to be some sort of audio control panel (in WinXP that would be in control panel and then sound, speech. Then "change speaker settings" and see what is going on there. It is a little difficult to be more specific because I use a soundblaster Audigy) - Hardy
Hardy
Hmmm on second thought... I tried to enable digital output on my system, and then I ONLY get a hissing. No musiv, nothing but the hissing static. Try to reattach all the cables (I remember someone writing that a loose speaker wire caused that kind og behaviour). - Hardy
