CoOlSlY
I'm wondering what would be the proper placement for 2 surround-back speakers for DTS-ES... I haven't found anywhere on the web where they describe "proper placement" for those 2 speakers! I already have "direct" speakers for front, center and surround... Thanx Sylvain
ColaBear
Here is a useful link to what you are asking. It's on the Dolby site. http://www.dolby.com/ht/sound/sound3.html Also, I use towers all around as you will see by the equipment list in my signature. They are set up very close to the diagram at this link. It's the third diagram down, the IUTR-1. http://www.geocities.com/p_iturra/Mixer_HomeT_Layout.html Hope this helps! ------------------ ************************* KLF-30 mains KLF-C7 center KLF-30 surrounds KSP-S6 rear center KSW200 subwoofer Denon AVR5800 Pioneer Elite DV-09 Pioneer Elite PD-F19 RCA DTC1000 Sony Playstation 2 Denon MD1000 Vidikron Epoch D-600 Vutec 100" 4:3 1.5 gain
CoOlSlY
Well, i've checked the two links you gave me... Dolby.com just give a 5.1 setup... I'm currently with a 7.1 setup that I'm wondering where to put exactly the two surround back speakers...! Sylvain
boa12
should be flush against your back wall (shooting straight ahead) @ about a 60 degree angle from your ear(s) to the center(s) of the speakers(s). if it's an es receiver, there should be some diagram in your manual.
