Helgen
Hi Unfortunatly I don't own any klipsch speakers yet. But I found a picture on the ebay. Item # 1369269800. Is it that simple inside the cabinet. What's the secret. I know they sound incredible nice and good. (listen to a pair 10 years ago, still remeber the awesome sound) Can I build my own? any with experience.
TBrennan
Helgen---Cornwalls would be an easy speaker to build providing you can get the drivers and horns. I think the K-33 woofer is available from Klipsch, I don't know about the other parts. There's no secret to the Cornwall, just a solid implementation of the proper way to make speakers. The technology has been known since the 1930s, I consider the Cornwall a descendant of the Lansing Iconic speaker of the late 1930s; the Iconic was the first high-quality home speaker with a 15" woofer in a vented box and a horn-loaded compression driver for mids and highs. www.chicagohornspeakerclub.org
