Anyone want to sell me a control pod (old style OK)

Well, the sub of my V2-400's doesn't play. At first I though it was the sub itself but it turns out it's something with the control pod. Opened it up but can't see anything wrong. Could just be a broken wire in the control pod cable (sub volume permantly set to zero).

In any case, I'd like to replace it, and would prefer not to pay $50 US + shipping which works out to close to $90 CND for a lousy control pod.

I'm don't mind the original old style that makes a static noise when you turn the volume knob. As long as it's not the type that gives constant static/noise/buzz/humming even when music is not playing.

If you have one please email me at tbadiuk@escape.ca

Thanks,

Ted

I think I may have one laying around, brand new (that is unused) that I'll could let you have. Now that I think about it, I do, especially since I upgraded my pod to the newer "CP-2" pod.

Thank you!!!! cwm30.gif

I have spent a couple of hours now with a voltmeter trying to figure out why my old circuit board/pod isn't working. I have a complete working V2-400 system but no sub output! cwm2.gif

Do you have paypal by chance? Not sure if you meant that you'd give me the pod as in free, but at the very least I'd like to pay shipping! If not, please let me know how much you'd like for it.

I sent you an e-mail message. You can have it for $20 US and that includes shipping.

To add (and I forgot to mention this in the e-mail), it is the older style kind, notthe newer CP-1 pod. It is a leftover when I upgraded mine to the CP-1. I actually have a second one that came with a replacement amp, so at least I still have a spare in case my current pod goes south (Those CP-1s seem to be pretty reliable, though).

That's not a problem! I don't mind the old style, as long as it works. The crackly volume knob I can live with, better than having no bass at all with my current pod.

Check will be in the mail tomorrow night assuming I don't hear back about you preferinf paypal/billpoint.

Thanks,

Ted

I have tested this control pod and it does not have a crankly volume knob (In fact, the control pod is a replacement to one that did have a crackly knob). It should be in perfect shape.
