That's not a problem! I don't mind the old style, as long as it works. The crackly volume knob I can live with, better than having no bass at all with my current pod. Thank you!!!! I have spent a couple of hours now with a voltmeter trying to figure out why my old circuit board/pod isn't working. I have a complete working V2-400 system but no sub output! Hi Justin, Who do I email at Klipsch? Also, all I really need is the circuit board (with all pots and other bits mounted complete) and the 8-PIN DIN cable (mine's sort of broken). I can reuse my plastic casing and speaker input cables since they just plug into the circuit board. (Note: A control pod from a V2-400 set or a 4.1 set will work) Well, the sub of my V2-400's doesn't play. At first I though it was the sub itself but it turns out it's something with the control pod. Opened it up but can't see anything wrong. Could just be a broken wire in the control pod cable (sub volume permantly set to zero). In any case, I'd like to replace it, and would prefer not to pay $50 US + shipping which works out to close to $90 CND for a lousy control pod. I'm don't mind the original old style that makes a static noise when you turn the volume knob. As long as it's not the type that gives constant static/noise/buzz/humming even when music is not playing. If you have one please email me at tbadiuk@escape.ca Thanks, Ted
