OverkillSD
So I got this maybe...11-12 years ago as a birthday present and it has been amazing ever since. Recently our apartment "flooded" when a drain backed up outside and went unfixed until it leaked into our bedroom, getting the bottom of things kinda wet (including my sub). There was no real damage done to anything, and I hooked everything back up this week to find that my front right channel doesn't get any sound. It might have been that way for months and I'm just now realizing it; I can't say that the two events are correlated or causally linked. The control pod's "Test" is just silent when it hits FR, and I don't hear anything on it from my PC on optical or RCA input. I got new speaker cables on Amazon after isolating it to either the cable or the sub, and that didn't help either. If I swap the speaker with one from another channel, the problem says local to the channel. Is there anything more I can do on my end before having it serviced or getting a new sub? I've been a DIY-er and hacker since I was a kid. Comfortable with most anything.
