Can I use 14 awg when I make my wires or should I just stick with the 16 awg? My longest run is about the same size as one the factory rear wires. tpg Posted August 31, 2002 Share Posted August 31, 2002 In the FAQ, it says the speaker wires are 22 guage. I am not sure what size it will accept down to, but the 5.1's will accept to 14 guage.
