Eric
Hi, I am moving into a new house and want to add 2 ceiling speakers for my #6 and #7 ones to complete a 7.1 setup. I already own the Reference Series RF-3 II, RC-3 II and RS-3 II for my 5 main speakers. I'm looking for a recommendation of which ceiling speaker will best match the sound of the ones I already have. Thanks so much for your advice. Thanks, Eric
fuzzydog
Welcome to the forum Eric! I don't see why you'd have any problem using the CDT-5650's with your setup. Call around for the best price. Hope you stay around and post often!
Eric
Thanks FuzzyDog! Any particular reason why you honed in on that model? Sure I will stick around. Once I get into this house I'm sure I'll have questions on my setup since it will be a whole new room! Eric

Really just two factors: The CDT-5650s tweeter is titanium which i believe would more closely match the timber of your existing speakers. The CDT-5800s, which also have titanium tweeters, would seem overkill compared to your existing speakers.
Eric
Thanks, that sounds completely reasonable to me! I really appreciate your advice. Eric
