bkervaski
SPOILER! Dude, not cool. (I forced myself to not read it, trying to reply without looking up)
Quiet_Hollow
Ok...ok.... Didn't believe I was giving out that much info. I edited my original post, but still can't help the part about looking something up before hand. With all the buzz, there's spoilers seemingly everywhere. bkervaski
We just finished it last night .. yea .. totally agree .. I wonder what Season 2 will be like? If it's more of the same it will get boring .. if those kids aren't cast it won't be the same .. I love the mix of Goonies meets Poltergeist/X-Files.
Quiet_Hollow
Definitely. Where Stranger Things struck gold was in the details....as in ALL of them, at once. There's a synergy to film that occurs when everything (cast, storytelling, photography, location, props, sound design) all comes together on point. All the right ingredients in just the right proportions. Creative lockstep. The smoking gun is a flick with some serious replay value. Another recent film that knocked it out of the park in that regard was Straight Out Of Compton.
