Dawson's Ridge
The Klipsch Chorus II will make an excellent audio music listening system. Because of age, some crossover work is probably in order, but don't try to over-work it. The design was good then, it is good today. If you want to obtain the highest level of overall satisfaction get you a McIntosh integrated amplifier or separates, solid state or tubes, doesn't matter, the sound will be the same. McIntosh amplifiers are rated A/A/B because the first few watts are A class and designed specifically for high efficient speakers like the Klipsch Chorus. Combining Klipsch and McIntosh is the natural fit and avoids any future need to upgrade.
