cabeman Posted March 27, 2001 Share Posted March 27, 2001 Just installed the CP-1 and have noticed a definite increase in hiss coming out of all 4 speakers. I realize some hiss is to be expected, but it's worse now that I've installed the CP-1 (from what I'd read I thought the upgrade would actually decrease the hiss that had originally existed). I've tried adjusting the wav/mp3/volume setting on my Soundblaster card but it hasn't helped (currently have the wav/mp3/volume set to 71% with all of the other audio options muted).
