mschreiber
Hello, I recently upgraded center to RP450C and fronts RP-280F speakers. Looking at replacing my quintet iii surround left and right as well as the rear heights. I am running a denon avr x4400h receiver. Couple questions. 1. RP-240s vs RP- 250s for surrounds? 2. What is a better use for these? Side or Rear surrounds or both? I am thinking the 240s would be fine for my mid size room . Again they are replacing quintet iii small surrounds. Any suggestions on wall mounts for either of these? I see there are mount holes on the speaker but in case I want to make them directional compatible. Thank you for your time. derrickdj1
Bigger is usually better but, one step up is not enough IMHO. More has to be done with the whole system and that takes some thought.
