I'm looking at your picture and I see what appears to be foam rolled around the midrange driver from the RC-64. If the woofer portion of the cabinet is not separate I'd definitely look into sealing it somehow. if it is, never mind..... I just googled on what you meant by sealing the middriver and found the importance of that. I did not seal it yet.
