Screaming Fist
Well, I have had my Klipsch ProMedia 4.1's for awhile now and one of my speakers always snaps/crackles/pops when sound comes out of it =/ I have moved it around to all positions and tightened/loosened the screws on the front but nothing makes it change at all. Do I have to get a replacement speaker or is there something I can do to fix this?
global_groove6
Try blowing in the speaker inputs in the back of the pod to get rid of the dust. Otherwise try upgrading your speaker wire. IT got rid of the crackling for me.
Screaming Fist
Well, my dad and I just took a look at the speaker in question and he thinks the tweeter is blown or something. How do I fix this/get it fixed?
justin_tx_16
if it is the front right, switch it witht eh front left moving only the speaker, so now the front right is playing the front left's sound. if the front right (what was the front right) still sounds bad, then your dad is likely correct, if not, could be the speaker cable or the control pod.
