I'm looking for speakers for my 5.1-homecinema system. 2 Rear speakers I have to use in-ceiling speakers and want to spend up to 300 US$ / 270 € (per speaker). Which speaker do you recommend? 3 Front speakers Pirmarily I wanted also to use in-ceiling speakers for the front speakers but several people advised against that. Do you think 3 in-ceiling front speakers above the screen would also sound well? - If so: Which in-ceiling speakers would you recommend (up to 300 US$ / 270 € per speaker). - If not I would use in-wall speakers. Docreid Posted March 28, 2019 Share Posted March 28, 2019 I have 8" Sonance 2 ways (VP-80) in ceiling in a 7.1 system. They sound quite good-have been very pleased. I haven't heard Klipsch architectural speakers-my dealer didnt carry them, but they look to be at least equal. Have La Scala AL-5's in front and a Zu Audio cube center.
