slb
Where to set my subwoofer. I have a Yamaha RX-V3200, Klipsch RB-5ll, 2 RC-3ll, RS-3ll, and a KSW10. My question is actually 2 fold. Using the LFE out from the receiver, should I set all speakers to small? Second, where should I set the crossover on the back of the sub? Thank you. Audio Flynn
I do not know if you have a fixed crossover or not. Most times they are 80 hz. The RB5s, if on proper stands, and distance from the wall, should have really good bass down to 50hz. Mine are about 2 feet from the wall. I have my HT rig(similar to yours only KSB 3.1 for the rear) set to large for the mains and the sub set to approx. 55 hz. Those little attenuaters on the back of subs are pretty subjective. Good luck. Rick
