Sold!

Hi - As a new forum member, I truly appreciate the vast knowledge shared through this community.  I've learned a lot and am jealous of some of the systems others have assembled.

That being said, I have to part with my Cornwall IIs.  These matched speakers were originally purchased new by my friend in the late 80's, and have been lightly used, well cared for, and are in great condition.  He ordered the cherry cabinets, but they didn't match his other furniture so he returned them to the factory for a darker finish.  He was pretty particular about everything that way.  After he upgraded his system to surround sound, he moved these to the room with his pool table, and they got a few small nicks in the finish.  These can be touched up to hide the chipped finish, but I didn't want to do that myself.  Other than that they're perfect and have blown me away with their efficiency and clarity.   He was moving, and I got them.  I don't have room for them, so as much as it pains me to do so, it makes sense to get them to someone who can appreciate them in the proper environment.  I'd prefer to not have to ship them, so if you're in western PA or eastern Ohio, that would be preferable.

The pictures below will show their excellent condition.  They came with the optional risers as shown.  The labels fell off when moving them, but I have the cabinets identified for the proper serial number for each.

I'm asking $1,200 for the pair.  These sound REALLY great -- no hint of any issues due to age.  I don't have the original receipt for these, but have the user manual and a Cornwall sales sheet as shown.

[SOLD this stuff, too -- to Nelion Audio in Michigan.  Check them out]  I have some 80's Carver equipment I'm selling, too, so maybe we can bundle things together (Carver C-1 Control Console, TX-11a tuner, Digital Time Lens, and M1.0t amplifier, but the M1.0t amp needs re-capped; there are kits available online if you have some soldering skills).   I'm located north of Pittsburgh, near Beaver Falls (famous for Joe Namath, if you remember him).
