jdm56
...just had one of those wonderful musical experiences that audiophiles live for. When the walls melt away, the speakers disappear, and the music is alive, there in the room in three dimensions. DVD-Audio? No. SACD? Uh-uh. 180 gram vinyl and tubes? No way, dude! ...Buddy Holly's "From the Original Master Tapes", on MCA compact disc, remastered by Steve Hoffman. A mostly mono recording, over 45 years old, heard over a pair of klipschorns being driven by 80 watts per channel of Japanese mos-fet power fed by an eleven year old CD player. Really, if you like that "old-time rock'n'roll" you gotta get this disc. Twenty slices of pure rock heaven!
