Klipsch the Fives with Tidal: Requirements for best possible quality

You should be using the RCA outputs on your Bluesound Node into the RCA inputs on your FIves.  Otherwise you are not getting the final unfold of your MQA files.

Since the Fives don't process MQA, sending the digital signal doesn't accomplish what you are trying to do.

When the Bluesound finishes processing the MQA files, the result is an analog signal.  Therefore, you need to use the RCA connections.  Keep in mind that in this instance, you are using the DAC in the Bluesound, and bypassing the DAC in the Fives.  When you use the optical or usb connections, you are relying on the DAC built into the Fives.

RCA = Analog

Optical / USB / HDMI = Digital
