bgilly
I am getting a Panasonic SA-HE70K receiver within the next couple weeks along with a used Klipsch KV-1 center channel. I will be using some cheapo KLH bookshelf speakers ($50 from Fry's) as the fronts for now, and they will be used as rears when I get better fronts. From some reviews I've read people have said the KV-1 matches a lot of different speakers fairly well, so hopefully that will help me in my quest for a pair of inexpensive front channel speakers. So, lets say under $200-300 for a pair, what do you think would work well. I don't care whether they are bookshelf or floor-standing, I will make whatever I get work. Keep in my mind this is for my bedroom, but I still would like something to keep for years to come if this setup ever gets put in the living room. TIA!!! PS. I am searching audiogon's classifieds almost daily for some good used stuff. :)
bgilly
Well I've been looking at the SB-2's or SB-3's for the last hour or so. They look pretty good on the specsheets and have gotten great reviews. Waddya think?
