Gabriel Simões
Hello! I have bought a home theater system (pioneer VX 1021 receiter + a set os 3 klipsch HDT 500 sattelittes and a subwoofer). I have connected the system a simple way: front R/L, Center and subwoofer. Unfortunately the L/R sattelittes are only producing highs and their woofers don´t produce any sound. The center one is running accordingly. Subwoofer as well Tests I did: - Checked the receiver configuration and all speakers are set to small - I have connected the center speaker to the front L and R outputs of the receiver and it works as expected: full sound! - I have connected L and R sattelittes to the center output of th receiver and the woofer doesn´t produce any sound as well - I have disassembled one of the speakers and the connections are great, no signs of damage to the crossover board, no problems to the capacitors and coils that I could check. no problem with solder joints... Also, it would be strange to see both speakers damaged the same way (they are the equal ones) while the center one is running just fine. I am starting to believe the problem may be an incompatiblity with the receiver. Any chance? Any ideas?
