obiwantedj
My father-in-law died and left me a 12" bottom firing Klipsch sub with electrical problems. Fuses immediately pop when powered on. Being the curious type I opened it up and see a damaged component. Now the question is what to do about it. I'm not afraid of diagnosing circuits and performing soldering iron surgery but would like to know more about the patient first. The label on the bottom of the case says SUB 12 120V. The amp circuit board says BASH Indigo 600135 Rev. 1. The blown up component is at location TH3. Any technical info on this beast would be appreciated. I'm also not opposed to swapping the amp out for a new one. Any info on procurement of a new plate amp would also be helpful.
