Klipsch R-100SW pop when waking - auto power setting

Hey everyone,

I bought a Klipsch R-100SW sub with the powered R-41PM speakers.

When power is set to auto (middle position) the sub makes a pop when the speakers wake it up with the signal.

Is this normal?

The sub is connected to a separate wall socket, not into an extension with the speakers, but that was tested too, same pop. I am using a fully shielded RCA cable connected into the LFE input.

I like the auto feature and don't necessary want to leave the sub on when I forget about it and nothing is playing. The pop is annying when it comes back on and worries me a bit.

Thanks a lot in advance!

EDIT:

There is pop when I turn it on/off manually, with and without the RCA cable and the gain knob all the way down too.
