Finster
I received a DVD for Christmas.(my first one) Ive downloaded a bunch of movies from the net. However, they are too large to burn on my CD-Rs. I need to find a downloadable cutter (free of course) from the net. Something that is easy to use and if it can change formats from avi, mpgECT to mpeg that would also be great. I need to cut these movies that are too large into 2 or 3 segments so they will fit. Any help at all would be most appreciated.

justin_tx_16
which seems to work best for you? I picked up SimpleDIVX i think... have not tried it yet. I want to make a copy of all my DVD's (82) for my brother to take with him to college. Yikes, that is going to take a LONG time!
Finster
I haven't found a encoder yet that works. I downloaded the moves from the net as divx, they need to be encoded as mepg1, My nero5 will encode them. However, the quality sucks. I get some "still framing" and the picture & sound don't seem to be in sinc. Let me know if you have a better system. Thanks
