xj220 Posted December 30, 2002 Share Posted December 30, 2002 When I wire my RF-3's, I hook up the speaker wire to the top binding post, and only the tweeter works, not the woofers. dougdrake Posted December 30, 2002 Share Posted December 30, 2002 It sounds like one of the straps between the upper and lower +/- terminals is not connected. These straps are on the outside of the speaker, so you should be able to see them between the two pairs of binding posts. If one is missing, (or you might want to do this anyway) just connect the upper + to the lower + and upper - to the lower - using a short piece of speaker wire. Or, you can strip a long length of speaker wire and connect it first to the lower post and then on to the upper post. DD Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
