cag4 Posted June 16, 2022 Posted June 16, 2022 New Heritage ProMedia 2.1 owner... the look great, sound pretty good... But the software? Main complaint is that they keep shutting off after a while of listening... why? Is that something that can be fixed? Quote
rholubec Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 Just got a set of Heritage ProMedia 2.1, same issue, listening via the aux connection and they just shut off?? How can this be corrected or just disabled? Quote
Mike3 Posted September 1, 2022 Posted September 1, 2022 Had the same issue but only noticed it when trying it on aux for a tv when the remote wasn't being used for more than 30mins. Didn’t have it happen before with bluetooth music but I was using the remote a lot. I did the factory reset to make sure I connected to BT first this time. I had wrongly attempted to connect to BLE first when I set it up originally. Seems to have stopped it. What does Klipsch support have to say ? Quote
2ndchance Posted October 21, 2022 Posted October 21, 2022 Klipsch released a new firmware to fix the connection latency issue, power-off issue, and now offers an option to disable the auto-power off. https://support.klipsch.com/hc/en-us/sections/5379078524692-ProMedia-Heritage-2-1 Quote
Alex.L Posted December 27, 2022 Posted December 27, 2022 The firmware updated didn't work for me. Even though I get the 5 blinking lights that should indicate the feature is off.... it is not. About to send these crap back. Any company that includes that feature is simply stupid. The amount of power draw from these setup is meniscal and anyone worried about saving $0.23 would just turn the speakers off if wanted. Klipsch, wake up. Just make quality sound, not unwanted gimmicks, please. Quote
Peacemaker Posted November 26, 2024 Posted November 26, 2024 At the end of 2024 and I'm still having the auto power off issue even after updating to the latest firmware in 2022. Happens while actively listening to the system. Anyone have an alternative fix? Quote
